Four in One Day Trip

Volcano, Mangos Park, River Ride & Rain Forest

The tour will take you along the Pan-American Highway to the town of Alajuela. You will pass by the way the Agriculture Monument, Juan Santamaría statue, and the famous Mangos´Park. During the ascent to the volcano, we will stop at the coffee fields, called Doka State, and enjoy a delicious Costa-Rican breakfast. We will then pass trough fern farm, strawberry plantations, and flowers farms.

We will spend time to on the top of the volcano to observe the principal crater with its sulphur fumaroles. After the volcano, we will continue and stop to discover La Paz Waterfalls Gardens, a Nature Park where we will walk on the truly spectacular trails that will lead us to Magia Blanca Falls (the largest and most spectacular of the 5 falls in the area). At the park you will also witness the largest enclosed butterfly observatory in Costa Rica (an amazing hummingbird gallery), an orchids garden, a frog pond, and a Serpentarium. We’ll have the opportunity to enjoy a great lunch buffet into this natural park.

Once we have arrived al Puerto Viejo of Limón, we will be ready to enjoy a relaxing boat ride on the Sarapiquí River. Just sit back and observe the wildlife that is around you. The monkeys, iguanas, crocodiles, and variety of birds will allow you to relax and concentrate on the scenery. Before returning to San José we will drive trough the unforgettable rain forest of Braulio Carrillo National Park, one of the most important rainforest reserves for Costa Rica
